I just scanned an old photo of LN-MAA just before leaving Norway from an aviation magazine dated 1974 . The photo caption rages against the (then) atrocious fuel prices in the wake of the energy crisis. This forced the sale of the Harvard to the UK. There is also a photo on airliners.net of the plane at Bassingbourn in 1978 as G-BDAM.

This was Jan Mürer’s Harvard which he bought from the Swedish AF around 1972. He flew it for a couple of years before selling it to the UK as G-BDAM. It was olive drab with the Norwegian red/white/blue stripes on wings and tail, with a yellow band on cowl.
