Sept 7th Benson / Wallingford. What's up?

To be precise, I know what’s up from the NOTAM

A Jaguar ‘missing man’ formation at about midday. Then a Spitfire at 4.15.

I just don’t know why.

Any ideas?

Thanks for that info.

Sounds like the Groupie died far too young.

The Jags overflew Wallingford at 1410hrs Local approaching from the N-E,departing South. The “missing-man” pull-up aircraft was visible from Didcot.
The Spitfire is due to fly-past the Officers Mess, presumably after the Wake

Moggy C
not too sure about the Spit,but…..
the Jags are doing their bit to pay their last respects at the funeral of ex-OC 6 Sqn,ex-1st Gulf War Jag pilot and ex-Wallingford School-mate of mine,Gp Capt MJ”Mike” Seares MBE who sadly passed away at his Wallingford home over the recent Bank Holiday weekend
R.I.P…Mike

hope this helps
