Hi all,
While on holiday I saw a photograph on the frontpage of an aviation magazine of what I thought was the fighter collection Bell P-39 Airacobra. I was pressed for time so I could not check it out!
I have not found any photographs on the forum since returning from my vacation so has anybody taken any photographs of the P 39 flying?
The walkaround I am preparing is almost ready but shows the situation in april of this year…non flying at that moment…
So are there any photographs of its current condition?
Greetings

Then it must have been Flight Journal that I saw!
I am really surprised that nobody has photographs of one of the first flights…when the Hawk 75 took to the air there were many photographs floating around!

There’s a photo of ‘Brooklyn Bum 2nd’, the TFC machine on the front of Flight Journal Aug 05 by John Dibbs. Doesn’t say if it was taking in the UK or US, but the scheme seems complete, so I’d guess UK. HTH
