Old Warden Flying proms (no photos!)

I just wanted to say a public thank you to the ground crew and pilots at Old Warden for braving the awfull weather on the evening of the flying proms to put on a true British display! The rain continued for the duration of the flying displays and then stopped as it got dark. The event was very well attended, despite the rain, and as I stood in front of the stage to the tune of Land of hope and Glory I felt very British and proud to be at Old Warden. I will post some pictures on the Airshow forum later in the week of both the aircraft and concert/fireworks.

I would also like to thank the Ground Crew an Pilots who were not able to hide in the dry during the downpour. Despite the weather there was some spirited flying that more than made up for the rain.
It was good to see the Avro Triplane up during the interval.
