It would seem that shy retiring Maurice Kirk has one in his farmyard in Wales.

My first recation was ‘Maurice who?’, a quick google to his website had me in stitches……:)

Correcting myself slightly,it seems Gawrons have fences on the wingtips only, rather than another at mid-span as I’d previously thought…

IIRc,there were two major models of Gawron, one being pretty much an exact copy of the Yak-12,but the other having redesigned wings with slight sweepback and a couple of massive wing fences on each wing.

I’ve seen – and photographed plenty on my travels around Eastern Europe.

IIRC, it is called the ‘Gowron’ ?? in Poland – licence built ?
