Interesting.
Thanks for sharing. They look to be Lysander IIIA (Mercury, twin machine gun in observers cockpit) and with the late style aerials on the wings.
The second photos is intreaguing as it seems to show patching and repainting on the upper wing, as well as a gas detector patch on the horizontal tailplane; something that didn’t last much after 1940; and evidence is mixed for the positioning of the patch on Lysanders.
It also looks like the stub plane tips have been painted a lighter colour. I wonder what?

Superb, many thanks for sharing them. My coincidence, I have recently got in touch with another RAF man in Northern Ireland, whose first tour was on the Fairey Hendon! There can’t be too many people still around who can claim that.
