Bought a Mustang stick (minus top) at Oshkosh…..unlike my other Stang stick (casting number beginning 99), this one has a casting number of 175 and differs from my other with some missing lugs on the bottom of the stick and also is too thick to take a B3 grip……looks like a B5 would slip in though (inside the tube). Does anyone agree with me that it could be a Cavalier ‘Stang stick or possibly off a 2-stick ‘Stan?…any body? Swiss Mustangs perchance?

Thanx Swiss Mustangs……not heard of that bird before….it is likely that the stick will be used in a Mustang Sim (it will not be modified….will just masquerade as such) as it is so similar to the ‘Stang. The only prob is I will have to fit a B5 to it

uhmmmmmmmmm
“175” casting means NA-175…… definitely not Mustang – this North American Aviation designation number is in the T-28 / F-86 region but I have my records at home – so please be patient until tonight.
*EDIT* – found it: NA-175 stands for “North American Aviation NA-175 North American AJ-2P Savage”
