True, but this is the first opportunity i’ve had to go for years, and i’ll most likely be away next year (RAF) so probably last chance i’ll have for a looong time, however when i get my car i’ll be able to go to plenty of airshows

Rlangham,
You are really missing out here. Dont let opportunities slide like this.

Bit too far for me – but just found out the Vintage Sports Car Club is having its annual race day at the local race track, with plenty of nice old 1900’s-1960’s cars going at full blast around the track, think i know where im going!

Rlangham,
Go to Breighton you know its right. Trust me on this its fantastic up there always busy.

Warbirds, a brace of Percivals, plenty of opportunities to view the aircraft at close quarters… all we need is the weather now!

Of course, both events take place over two days – why not do one apiece?

methinks Breighton would be a better bet.

So in other words the only classic aircraft will be a tiger moth, a few piper cubs and maybe a spitfire flypast?

I think YAK11 is right. It’s a “Vintage” 2-day weekend fly-in with classic aircraft and cars. I’ll be there in my Airtourer if I can find my way there.

They have a website at http://www.northcoatesflyingclub.co.uk/ but it’s misbehaving at the moment – stretch those legs a little further north would be my advice!
