Some very good performances over the course of the weekend including the Mustang pair which was absolutely supurb. Probably the highlight was H-75, wonderful sound and a wonderful display from Stephen Grey.

The Corsair and Mustang pairs gave a nice show  It was good to see the lanc back in the air at duxford

I know mods shouldn’t lead diversions from topic, but I do recall a heart-stopping moment at one of the later Air Fetes when the Lancaster swung off the runway on landing 😮

Do you and AF know something we don’t?
It’s just a long time since the Lancaster has operated out of Duxford, don’t worry, it’s not being retired or any thing bad so –
relax – and – breath.
I wouldn’t say it was the best ever though, far from it in “my humble opinion” and I’ve worked at them all including classic fighter.

You are not alone in that hope.

The best part of Legends was having the Lanc operating out of Duxford again.
I hope it’s not the last time.A.F.

I think last year’s show featured more planes, but the mustang duo was really superb: such tight formations require a lot of training!! And yes, Stephen Grey is a helluva pilot!!!

It was our first Legends, but we loved it so much that we’re going to stay over (well nearby, anyway) and visit on both days next year!
I disagree with the H-75. Everything was a highlight!
