It’s only 2 weeks away & there hasn’t been much mentioning of it. I was told this morning that it had been cancelled. Any confirmation?
Have you not done a website for it this year Damien?

Multivac- When they say go to St Athan for scrapping , it very much equates to remove every last piece that’s usable to keep the old birds flying!
Be nice to see her taxying up and down at Bruntingthorpe but that wouldn’t keep her sisters flying.
Yes, a sad day. Apparently this is one of three going there ‘to be disassembled’ on Monday. There are rumours that the RAF is looking at buying some second-hand TriStars to tied them over until the A330 tankers are delivered. Anyone heard that? Perhaps some a Delta’s recently retired -500s?

Glad to see you got home safely – yes a wonderful day. Would have loved to have met you and reminise about your Eagle days! Another time?

And I told Albert to go for an eye test, get his monitor calibrated and sod off… glad to see you enjoyed your humble pie me old mucker…

I can categorically say it’s SUPERB 😀 and and the blue colour is VERY accurate. The only doubt that was put in my mind was by Damien’s pictures, which were taken earlier in the year under differing lighting conditions. (I saw him today and told him in future to exposure them correctly!). Come to Kemble tomorrow for a cracking day out!

Blue?
The new colour is RED. Man I am sunburnt… Factor 15 is childsplay… I’ll try 115 next time.

I’ve got an 0955 arrival slot for G-BSEU tomorrow, just in case anyone wants to come and meet.
Saw your ship in the middle of the visitor’s park, but completely abandoned!

Interesting to note that EVERY aircraft you can see in this shot is BRITISH!
…and old :diablo:

That’s better! Now did you get any of T3A XM479….. 😀
XM479 landed but parked over by Delta Jets hangar. G-BWGT also arrived and parked in the static, but was exactly the same as last year.

Great pix Albert, although I’m slightly mystified by the lack of substantial JP material in your selection 😉
Unfortunately I am unable to make it tomorrow due to family commitments, but if Glen and the rest of his team happen to read this…
I hope the show goes well 😎
Oh, all right, if you insist! Interesting to note that EVERY aircraft you can see in this shot is BRITISH!

…The RAF VC-10 is making its last public appearance and on Monday will depart for St.Athan to be scrapped 🙁
What a shame. Pity it couldn’t go to Brunty instead.
Is that a possible four ship Hunter flying display then?

Plenty of Kemble on TV from the main press day back in April, and plenty of pics here…
What’s the point in having Press Days so far in advance, if the footage and a ‘plug’ is not transmitted a day or two before the event, to remind people of what it on in their local area? 🙁

Kemble Today
Today was arrivals day at Kemble and the weather was CRACKING! Here is a taster that I shot. The RAF VC-10 is making its last public appearance and on Monday will depart for St.Athan to be scrapped 🙁
On the subject of Delta Jets “Blue Diamonds” Hunter, on which there has been quitea lot of discussion on this Forum, this is the first time I have seen this aircraft since its been painted. I had a personal detailed guided tour of the aircraft today and compared notes on the colour of blue it has been painted.

Why on earth has there been so little publicity about Kemble Air Day this year? Press Day was last Tuesday and I have been watching BBC Points West and ITV West News on Tv waiting for them to announce it and show some footage – zilch! Have I missed it? Our local radio station is giving it mega publicity, but it should still have more as this is one of our few QUALITY shows that is always worth attending! No Piccies here from Press Day either?

Hi every one
Popped into Delta Jets to-day ,got chatting to a couple of chaps and they say thier going to have their Hunters ready for next week-end.They had 3 on show don’t know the serial numbers but they are the black, blue, and camoflaged ones.
In the opposite hanger anyone got info about the full size replica mosquito being built, its an absolute stunner just the fuselage done so far but the chap/chaps who have done the work full credit to you. From memory Ithink the serial was DZ 313.
