Setter comming to Leg ends

Hi all

I am planning to come to Leg ends – staying nearby from the thursday till the monday – would like to catch up with all of my “mates ” plus sparring partners here for a drink or two and a meal perhaps?

Hi Melve

You know what an honour it is you propose and I shall be there …………….

On the subject of Australian wines….as a former vineyard owner I would have to say that there are some pretty crap Australian wines to this very day – don’t worry we send em all to California !! The good ones we drink but only to excess !! and well we send some good to better your way on occasion. The problem is that after a bit of sucess now every available bit of dirt here has vines stuffed into it.

I am currently practicising my slagging and coffee technique and my coffee swilling and shall be in great voice with rapier witt or was that F**k Witt on the day

Kindest regards
JP

what, the Beau’s ?

Monty Python, the Australian wine sketch.

“this is not a wine for drinking, it is a wine for laying down and avoiding”

“The wine really opens the sluices at both ends . . .”

This was from a time when Australian wine really was that bad!

At the opening of the Sydney Harbour Bridge club they were fishing them out of the sewers every half hour!

Will be great to see you , you old B*****d – we need to smoke Melve out and visit the Clobbermiester!!

No problem there, the coffee is on, the rain os ordered and there is a reserved notice on the slagging seat at Popham.

Alternatively you cold squeeze your fat Aus-strucking-falian derriere into the right hand seat and come flying.

I thought we’d seen the last of you in 2004. There can’t be a plane in the UK that you haven’t poked a camera at.

In terms of services to the Forum, shouldn’t you be going to the Phillipines, Eastern Europe or somewhere previously unexplored (okay not probable as Mark 12 will have been there at least once  ). I here they do nice Spitfires in Syria, and they only chop your hands off if you get caught with excess baggage.

Note to DX. Bolt it down, glue it or chain it before Setter arrives and check him thrice before he departs.

Good to hear your coming back, I’ll book the Morris Men.
