I’ve just opened the DD Video catalogue and had a flick through, and one of the films in it is one called “The Flemish Farm”, about a squadron of Belgian pilots taking refuge in the UK. The front cover clearly shows a Hurricane, and the write-up dates this film from 1943.
Anyone seen it?
The IMDB gives a little about it, but not much.

Interesting story, not sure if retrieving a flag would have warranted risking valuable trained aircrew for though

Thanks Fouga. Well, I was going to register at that forum and ask there as suggested but during registration I was notified by the foum that for some reason my email has been banned!
I have no idea why, I’ve never even seen that forum before so I can’t undestand what it is I have supposedly done to get banned before joining.

Hi,
Could you possibly post details for DD video , So I can get a copy !!!
I have been hunting the film for many years, It is supposedly based on a pilot escaping and flying with the RAF, apparently a mediocre film .
The pilots flying the hurricanes were from 193Sq at harrowbeer, the filming was mainly undertaken from church stanton, pilots flew up on 7 feb 43 from Harrowbeer and returned 18 feb 43, Four hurricanes were involved.
Cheers
Jerry
