The Jodel Mousquetaire wears a French Air Force c/s used for trainers (Epsilon for instance).
I have no idea if the type was ever miltary used.
French members might be of assistance.
Hello Willy,
In fact it still in military use. The aircraft present at LFA is still operational within the French Air Force.
The correct identification is :
Jodel D140E
SAVV21.535
Romorantin-Pruniers (BA273)
Armée de l’Air
(SAVV = Section Air de Vol à Voile)
It’s apparently used for glider towing.
I hope this helps.
Best regards,
Laurent

Last photograph shows a red biplane looking like a single-seater Bucker, no registration readable.
Possibly a Jungster? Or an Andraeson (sp)?

For the ones who might be interested, the little German painted biplane is a Leopoldoff c/n?

LFA Part 11
Hope it will not be Chapter 11 as there is a new levy by the Direction générale de l’Aviation civile on French Airshows
Mike J, the French registration is indeed painted under the tailplane, but I wonder if the British serial is correct as the Chipmunk wears a British serial not related to her true identity (ex RDAF)
Received the link in the mean time.
As already said, I appreciate the immense knowledge of the members of this forum.
The yellow bird pretending to be a L-4H is according to the French a register an home-built WAGAEROSPORT, hence the registration in the F-P batch.
SV4c registered in the home-built sequence unknown.
Last photograph shows a red biplane looking like a single-seater Bucker, no registration readable.
I forgot to mention that I cannot identify neither the silver sprayed Nord (French registration vaialable) nor the Lycoming powered Bucker replica

These aircrafts are not listed on Brugier’s data bank.
French assistance appreciated.

Some more.
Identity of the Fairchild Argus,F-AZFJ Bucker and all Yaks requested.
For the Yaks, more to come, there was one single-seater with a three-blade propeller. I don’t know if the engine was also changed.
