Found this color photo taken at Fowlmwere , this particular P-51 was flown by the younger brother of Maj George E. Preddy Jr. Lt Bill Preddy who was lost late in the war , flew this Mustang. That is not Lt Preddy on the wing of the Mustang at Fowlmere.

Thanks….LOL…well if your seeing this and your up in Switzerland ( 6 hours ahead of us I believe) then I need to get to bed ( 4:41am here)! I spoke tonight with Stephen Ananian tonight and sent him the link to your website. During the war he carried a film camera with him on some of his missions in addition to shooting scenes around the base. His group will be the subject on a new DVD documentary out soon. Gun camera footage and pilot interviews taken at a group reuion. He told me it will be announced in the groups newsletter soon. Hope all is well…will get that photo out to you soon !

The pilot is Capt Lloyd J. “Jeff” French – he was assigned to “Rusty” before Bill Preddy took over.
