I was given this photo years ago by a WWII P-38 man, I believe its an offical US Army Air photo! But I love its meaning , says to me the end of an evil dream ! I’ll try to find some more 339th photo’s and of course my guys from Bodney , the BlueNoser of the 352nd !

Based on a couple photos in Kenn Rust’s 9th AF history, I’d say it’s a 33rd PRS F5.

Only one problem. It’s a photo recce F5. Guess he couldn’t have done the damage below 🙂
Not the radio antenna on the top of the nose ala F5.
