Not a bad show really concidering the poor weather conditions. Taking into account that the Lysander, Gladiator, BBMF, Sea Fury, Hercules and the RAF Falcons didn’t make it, and Sally B, Beech 18, and the Wildcat were on the Flightline but didn’t fly also the Harvard duo & Yak-11 duo turned into singletons, everybody involved should be congratulated on a show lasting over 3 hrs. Hopefully the people going today had better weather.
I don’t know what other people think but I thought the quality of the food was better although expensive.
Good to meet up with a few people again and also meet some new faces, spent an enjoyable afternoon in the company of Mike J so thanks to him for putting up with me.
I have only sorted though one card of photos so far so I will put some more up later.

Love the P-40 green Alaska with cottages shot. Excellent stuff.

With the right (expensive) stuff – fluid and swabs – available from Warehouse Express -cleaning the sensor is something you can do for yourself. In fear and trepidation I’ve cleaned mine two or three times. I don’t enjoy doing it, but it does take only a couple of minutes. I’m sure those more technically inclined than me can offer more useful advice.

Glad you both like them. Totally agree on the Hurri, I took a fair few myself!!
The kit is a 10D with a Sigma 50-500 and I agree the sensor does need cleaning, I don’t know whether to try doing it myself or send it away after OW next week.

Nice pics Niall. I love the “new” Hurri and took an almost unhealthy number of pics of it yesterday!
What kit are you using? I think you sensor could do with a clean to get rid of the infamous dust spots – not meant as a criticism, just trying to help!

Hi Good pics :). I am afraid the weather does not seem that much better today (I live about 3 miles from Duxford). I have had 2 heavy hail showers so far this afternoon :(.
