Halifax crash at Drosay

I’d appreciate any help anyone can offer regarding Halifax III LW436 of 434 Squadron which crashed approximately 1 mile from Drosay on 4 Aug 44. Three of the crew are buried in the local churchyard having been killed when the aircraft exploded returning from a mission to Bois de Casain. I should like to locate the crash site if possible and would also be keen to establish if any material has been recovered from the site.

Thanks

Stan

Well the whit and wisdom bits can be a little wobbly now and again :p but overall there’s a knowledgeable and friendly bunch of folk on these pages.
