there is a chance that I will be able to visit Duxford during the week at some point in the next few weeks (not sure of a date yet, as its a long trip) but I was wondering if there is much flying during the week. I guess the weekbeore the airshow will see some flying. so does anyone know which day the practice/press day thing will be? I would love to try and see Princess Liz or the Hawk 70, fly but not expecting too much as it will fly when its ready. cheers for any help in advance!

THanks for the Info. I understand the Pot Luck part I was just just checking to see if there were better times of the week. Because of the Info I’ll try and get up the week before the airshow towards the end of the week. Once again thanks.

I tend to find that weekdays are more active than the weekends especially as the maintenance organisations work Monday to Friday. The week before an airshow is normally more busy and press days are normally Thursdays. The weekdays before Legends are normally very busy. Hope this helps but at the end of the day it’s very pot luck.

Its often pot luck and weather dependent, but if you see my last two threads, you will see that last Thursday and Friday were quite fruitfull
