Tiger Moth

How time flies, I was taking the dogs for a walk at about 11 o’clock when a Tiger Moth flew over the village, heading south, possibly for Andrews Field, registration G-ABAG, the registration sticks in my mind somehow, is it a particularly famous aircraft?

Well i’ve just done a search on G-INFO (which I should’ve done firstly-doh!) and it appears she’s owned by neither! Certainly she was once based at OW,but she now appears to be in private ownership in Essex.

Hi Pete,
G-ABAG is the Shuttleworth Collections DH.60 Gypsy Moth (rather than a Tiger Moth),the so called ‘Bagmoth’ after her reggie. I’ve a feeling she’s actually owned by BAe but based with the collection.
