WOW, and WOW
Thank’s Martin for the ” Head’s up ” mate!
And Kevin top stuff mate!, His name doe’s sound familiar to me, I’m sure I have seen he name about somewhere in me book’s.
I must get back down and see the Lib again, She now look’s AWESOME!!!
And last time the old boy’s still said she must fly, before they all die off!!!
I know because how she has been built, she may never get her flying paper approved.
The lad’s with Ossie Mossie at cook, and other there say will never get it!
Which I think is a damn shame, all those old boy’s have been dreaming of that day, since the rebuild first began.
And that is, take her over to say Point Cook, Or Avalon, or Laverton and just let her spread her bloody great wing’s, for say a few test flight’s, then one circuit to land at say Essendon Drome and a few other close by.
With old boy’s to see her fly, and some to see her at the place she may be allowed too visit.
Get all the picture’s for History’s sake of course, then the WIG’S can turn her in to a bloody great dust collector. BUT then only.
THIS WOULD BE NICE, but may of course never happen with out that Cof A!.
Welcome to the mad house Kevin, please enjoy your stay!
I am off now to watch ” Polar Express ” with my Stepdaughter Ange(turned 22 27 Dec) and this is the first time we have got to sit down after all the MADDNESS of Xmas!!
Happy New Year All far and WIDE!.
Ciao, Bye, CYA!

About the WW2 R.A.A.F. pics from J Newman.
Gday folks, these pics were taken by the father of a friend of mine who has since passed on. There are several suitcases full of his photo’s. There are more to go through. I was searching in particular for some memories of his experiences in the R.A.A.F. during his service. Here is some more info on him and a link to a pic taken of him, just a few years ago.
Selected images from the collection of
Flight Lieutenant John William Newman, R.A.A.F. Second World War.
John William Newman passed away in 2003, These images were supplied by one of his son’s, Roger Newman of Castlemaine, Victoria.
These haven’t seen the light of day for years.
