Evening all
Whilst re-reading my old copies of AM and Flypast ( no favouritism – I’ve a full run of both) I came across the folllowing from the July 83 AM.
“Arthur Carrington and Chris Duthy- James, owners of Leopard Moth G-ATFU … have completed the wings and and well advanced on the fuselage of a half-scale Supermarine Walrus…..to be powered by a Salmson radial engine of about 90 h.p.”
Anyone know what happened to this project?
I also came across reference to a Rearwin Cloudster in the 83 Duxford sale. Is this Melvyns and if so was it airworthy at any stage between 83 and recently?

Sadly Arthur died many years ago. He was a great character and a good friend. I have no idea what happened to the unsanforized Walrus he and Duthy were working on.

I was told several years ago, about 10!,that the half size walrus was still in arthur carrington’s barn, still unfinished. Probably still there!!
