Yes can I have a coffee with no sugar while your at it 🙂

Oh and some malted milk biccy’s please 🙂

Ohh I luv them – specially the choccie ones. So better put more on the plate.

I wonder if they can change the picture on them from a cow to a Hawker Hunter? Would look better and taste good.

 Whilst this guy is asking aviation questions i feel that they should be answered as such.
This was the state of the Blenhiem as of Feb this year.Possibly going to have the older Mk Nose put on.
Still a long way from being airworthy by the looks of her 🙁

Thanks for that, much appreciated.

Mind you, it looks crap up close.

No it doesn’t!!
What gives you the right to say that????
Do you think you own it or something?–restored it, did we?
When you’ve rebuilt an aeroplane from scratch like that eccentric from Hampshire did, you’ll be able to comment.

There were Mk.IF’s in all BLACK nightfighter schemes.

All Blenheims were built as bombers. The 4X 0.303 gun packs were built as a kit by The Southern Railway workshops at Ashford.
They were then installed on Blenheims by the RAF.
The very first AI nightfighter kill was carried out by a Blenhein MkIF of the Air Fighting Development Unit.

Hope this helps.

Good question, i guess if they’re going to graft on the MK1 nose then day bomber scheme?

I thought they had Mark 1 night fighters. I might be wrong (don’t quote me on that) but I thought just post BofB they had short-nose night figthers.

No, thick.

The Blenheim still hasn’t flown.
(Aviation content.)

Is it still in night fighter colours?

duxford blemheim

Has this plane been restored to flying condition yet as i can find no updates on it. All i no is that it crash-landed in 2003 because of undercarriage trouble
