It wasn’t just the Hurricane up at Duxford today, the Ryan was doing circuits when I arrived. First time I have seen this one fly.

Scary stuff reading the biography.
Not many of his instructors are still with us.

..anyway flying that thing without goggles is a lil dary, isnt it? I cried my arse out in a Tiger once because I wanted to take some airborne pics and left the goggles in the hangar..

wait… u mean her surname is Curtiss-Taylor, she flies great, owns a rare piece of flying machinery and above all is 22 years old? I think we have a winner for the “who’s gonna marry Alex?” contest chaps! 😀

PT22
The lady in the back is the owner and pilot Tracy Curtiss-Taylor.
I flew the thing with her from Breighton last year and subsequently checked her out on it. She flew it extremely well.
Nice to see her in the air again in her 22.

It was a young lady (Rear seat). Her passenger, was “delivered” back to the ARC building.

Wow – nice to see this fly.
Maybe we’ll see it in formation with Shuttleworth’s one this summer ?
