If anyone has any ideas, please p.m. me – or, reply with any assistance via this forum.

Thanks for your time…..

Hi Crofty
I know it has been a while since this post, but do you still have the Turner Inflation Kit and would you like to sell it?

As the OP hasn’t been seen since 2005, it’s probably safe to assume the requirement has been satisfied!

Hi Andy B

Many thanks for taking the time to search out the bits !
I think i’ll almost be there with what you have found, although i think the JP has to have a further flexible adaptor to mate with the inflation valve, through the wing upper surface access panel ?

I’ll arrange to come down to Brunty in the near future, and we’ll work something out as you say, can’t think of anything i would rather donate to than the Q sheds, just a little bit jealous though, we’re still outside at present, like yourselves, and that wind is biting again now !

I’ll drop you a PM when i get a set of dates free, probably in a few days if thats o.k ?

Hi chaps, have had a good look though our stores (lots of boxes) and come up with this kit of parts for you, only had enough bits to make up one unit,

You didnt say in the request what pressure you need on your accumulators, so I had a rumage and found this one

We do have others if the pressure reading is to high for what you need, this particular one is for Lightning services pressure

Let me know if this is any good and we will take it from there, maybe a Q shed donation ??? 🙂

Cheers.

Slightly OT Who was Mr Turner, presumably the inventor of the eponymous adapter?

Hi, we are up at the airfield tommorrow giving 728 a little stir, I know we have a box full of spare bits from Turner adaptors, I will make a point of digging all the bits out and see what I can come up with, will get back to you over the weekend or possibly Monday.

Cheers

You can get Turner Adapters from these people.

They were pretty expensive though last time I bought one. 😮

I’ve been on this quest myself and drawn a blank. LAS advertise the bits but boy you really don’t want to know their prices! I’ve tried HM Sales at Stock and some of the other surplus dealers like Anchor Supplies but no-one seems to have the bits, or they just don’t know what to look for. UK Surplus (MOD disposal Agency) probably have pallet loads of them at Stafford, judging by the way everything is going out of service, but then again we both know how half this stuff just gets slung in the skip when a Squadron gets the axe! Good luck and if you find a load, buy them up and remember me! 🙂

If I find a load Ill give you one, and a turner adapter — HA HA….
Thanks anyway,
