Greetings Sywell Fans –
The next Sywell Airshow will be on the 3rd September 2006 and is to be a biannular event – for those of you who have visited the airfield this year you will be able to see a considerable amount of earthworks at the end of the runway, the strip is being levelled and will not have settled in time for a show this year -plus there is loads of new stuff going on, buildings etc so we cant squeeze the show in this year –
BUT there will be a spangly Summer Ball on the 16th July to compensate!
So keep your diary clear for next year!

The T9 Finger Four Formation sounds good to me especially as Duxford have turned there nose up at it – however the question of funding does come to mind.
There maybe a fifth T9 around but at the moment that is still a while off.
Meanwhile I just hope that the CAA’s “plans” for (substantial) increased costs for airshows are reconsidered as they stand a fair chance, along with Insurance costs of wiping out such shows as this one.

Ben i think some WW1 types could be a distink possibility!! As for Tr9s, we were at one point due to have two last year, however carolyns engine went sick and then AH went sick!!! hence last minute “Janie” And im sorry but if push comes to shove i think it will only be fitting to have “SUSY” over “JANIE”!
On a practical note, all these are great idea’s but we have to Fund it!!! so any potential sponsa’s send this way!!
