The entry in the 97 ORB’s ties in perfectly date wise with the Log book.

Absolutely fantastic guys. A 66 year mystery finally solved.

Unfortunatly F/Lt Gordon Beston who’s Log Book this was, died in Spetember 2009 aged 87 years. He had always wondered about the fate of his original crew and i have spent hours searching records etc to try and find the information he sought. It’s a real shame i didnt find this forum before he died.
