What a/c had a 309xx prefix?

Got some whitley bits through this morning and amongst them were some parts with a 309.. prefix. Just wondering what they may be from? Spitfire perhaps? Does any bright spark out there know?

Thank you very much

Could be Spitfire – what is the full part number?

Bruce

Hi bruce

From memory it was 30908 – there were several parts with this number and what I assume were sub assembly numbers. Mostly steel ?possibly stainless steel parts – they came from a dump in wales.

Cheers
