It certainly doesn’t look right. You can see that this isn’t a ‘real’ spit. But it is still a nice display item.

The photo was taken when it was “gate guardian” at Turnhouse untill taken away and replaced by a plastic one that is in just as bad a colour scheme pretending to be an early war machine but with a 4 bladed prop and pointed fin!!!
