I bought a copy several years ago at Hendon, his fine book about making of the movie , The Battle of Britain. Sadly it got water damaged , been looking for another copy and its rare and out of print. Even wrote him before his passing and he told me he had no copies left and no future reprint was in the future. Saw this price at a book seller , over $900 dollars wanted to this book.
Wish FLYPAST could reprint the book with premission of his family, would love to find just another plain copy.

Thanks Dave and I understand…..all the best ! I see you live in Devon, same place I take it where Slapton Sands ( sp) and Operation Tiger took place before D-Day ? Or do I have the wrong town in the UK. Just picked up a great DVD on ebay produced by ITV about this horrible day for American, losing over 700 GI’s before D-Day! Can go twenty more on bid !..

I managed to get a signed copy of the second volume for £25, when it should have cost £40, because the publishers hadn’t sent out the one my mum ordered for Christmas.
