Just saw a bit on a Barbara Walters special of the top 25 people she has ever interviewed, and Tom Cruise showed her his P-51D Mustang ‘Montana Miss’, a beautiful Mustang if I do say so myself, with the side codes ‘LG-W’…any one got any photos of this bird? My TV picture isn’t the greatest, would be nice to see her unfettered….the piece on Cruise was immediately followed by a bit on John Travolta and his Boeing 707, another really cool plane that has been customized by Travolta with reclining luxury seats….sure would be fun to fly in THAT one…
Barbara estimated the worth of Cruise’s Mustang at ‘around half a million dollars…” I would venture it’s worth a BIT more than that….

Yeah, saw the Pitts on the show, it’s white with red stripes, nice plane….Walters said Cruise owned THREE planes, don’t know what the other one is tho….probably a business jet for getting around or something similar….nice looking ‘Stang, tho.

Lucky Bloke that Tom Cruise – he gets all the hot women and now a hot aeroplane .i heard from a pal who lives near Van Nuys Airport near LA that Tom has a Pitts Special , must be nice to have a choice of which aircraft to take for a flight . Must be great to have all that money to make your Warbird Dreams come true – Could this be another thread 😀

I was very intrested in reading that Tom Cruise Has a Mustang so I googled it and it is a beutie. Mark I have heard no more news about the possible Tom Cruise film on the life of Billy Fiske , who was killed flying a Hurricane early on during the Battle of Britain. May still be in the works!!!!! Hope others can add to this. Hope we will see a photo of his P-51. Wonder what it cost to insure, own and operate a P-51? The insurance alone must be a boat load full of money !!!!
