Ok gents, what is the background of the P-51 on display at Hendon? Nothing in particular was written about this display at the RAF Museum.
Thanks !

Hendon Mustang…Thanks Martin !
Martin:
Wow, that was quick and thanks for the note on the Hendon Mustang. Speaking of Mustangs , have you had the opportunity of see the new DVD out about the 352nd Fighter Group? Its one of the best documentaries I have seen about a WWII fighter group. Check out this site and perhaps they can send you a pal copy. Great archieve footage and of course plenty of vintage photographs. Sadly the group has held its last reunion and this documentary was based on this. Done by Split S productions out of Florida and worth getting your hands on. Let me know if I can supply futher information, here is website to the company. Also they offer a wonderful soundtrack as well. How’s the weather today. snow and cold I bet, but we know a Merlin can kick over in this weather ! Thanks again for the info and I like your website, great work on your part !
Thanks !

Martin, that one is now at RAFM Cosford. The P51 currently at Hendon is ex-Bob Tullius, and was donated for inclusion in the Milestones of Flight building. I’ll leave it to the Mustang junkies to fill in the rest… 🙂
