Some British planes!

Was just looking through an old box of slides. Found a bunch which I haven’t looked at for at least 10 years. Can’t remember who took them, but they were given to me about 20+ years ago. I did scan a few which unfortunately are not the best, but interesting. Can anyone give more details regarding them? G-SHOW was Lindsay Walton’s if I remember correctly. Still around???

I have finally found a photo from 1981 showing G-ATJW at Denham. Also found a note that it was Harry Elkins that owned and I believe rebuilt it.

G-ATHH Nord 1101 Noralpha c/n 162 formerly F-BLQS to USA in July 1983 (according to British Civil Aircraft Registers since 1919″)

Looks like it is with Jerry Jagen in VA.

Me, posing in Lindsey Waltons Alcyon.

In the summer of 1981 I called at Waltons in Norfolk and had a look at Lindseys planes, Bf 108, Ms 733A and, I believe a PA 28. That was before he bought the Corsair.

G-ATJW I believe was rebuilt by a guy who operated out of Denham, I can’t remember his name now. I remember the aircraft being put together and flying in early 1980’s briefly before being sold possibly at auction and moving to the USA.

It was registered N5337M and checking the FAA register is shown as being in Montana now.

G-SHOW certainly was Lyndsay Walton’s, I know it didn’t fly for much longer after he sold it but off the top of my head I can’t think where it was last stored, I’ll try to look when (if) I get home tonight.

Just giving this a push in the hope that someone might have some info regarding these planes. From G-INFO they all come up as deregd. but that is all it says.
