Having looked at this thread, is the Mustang the only ‘warbird’ to have had a civilian colour scheme ? I think not ! Rolls Royce Spitfires come to mind, there must be lots of others too, one very colourfull ‘warbird’ (I rather hope the Hunter can be classed as a warbird) came to mind …. see below !
