Dear Snapper….

Dear Snapper,

My name is Mark Morris. I live in a place called ‘Colorado’ in the US of A, a long way from you in England. My grandfather worked in a factory in World War Two, or as my Daddy calls it, ‘The Big One’. He built Corsairs, a famous fighter plane during the war. We wanted to get a town out here in Colorado called ‘Corsairville’ or ‘Voughtville’, but no one seems interested. Since my grandfather lived in a town named Evergreen after World War 2 we thought (me and my family) it would be appropriate to re-name that town, but the townsfolk don’t seem to want to go for it. No one here seems to appreciate what he did for them during the war by helping to build the greatest Naval and Marine prop driven fighter of the war….boy is it depressing. We are so proud of him and his contribution to the war effort, my onscreen name and e-mail name are both dedicated to him and the plane he built. he was a great guy. I am so depressed…..I wish there was something that could cheer me up….
