As we progress on the restoration of our MkIX Spitfire we continue to come across parts that we need. I am now trying to locate the levers that mounted on the right side of Frame 9 near the cockpit floor. One was a Bowden lever and the other a large D Handled device. Both were used for the External fuel tank disconnect and release. Please if anybody has knowledge of where we can get one please contact me.

I have a spare Bowden lever which you can have for a modest amount. There are two different styles of bracket for the cast aluminium lever. There is also a spring loaded plunger that goes in the centre, bottom of frame 9, that attaches the tank. I will see if I can find you any patterns.
