First confirmed European air show appearance for Spit XIX PS890!

The ex Planes of Fame Spitfire XIX with counter-rotating props is a confirmed participant at the Oldtimer-Treffen on the Hahnweide near Stuttgart in South Germany from 02.-04.09.05!

Other tasty confirmed participants are a Corsair, Bf 109G-4, Yak 3U replica, formation flight of 5 x Ju 52, Swiss Constellation and FlugWerk’s FW190 (if the certification process has been completed by then).

very first appearance of Spitfire XIX PS890 is actually at the La ferte Alais airshow, may 14-15. :dev2:

The Hahnweide website also mentions that Marc Mathis (owner of the YAK-3) also now has a P51, which one would that be?
I suppose that it is F-AZSB

what about the Yak-11 “Czech Ride” N11MQ (Reno Race #29) now resident in Freiburg (Germany)….two Yak-3U’s are also there

Kenneth,my apologies for not speaking German so i wondered if you would be so kind as to translate the web page [i tried translation link in the web browser but it did’nt make much sense to me].
The web page seems to be an advert for Mercedes ,is that correct or is the airshow hidden in there somewhere.Sorry,Thanks πŸ™‚
