PC American die-cast aircraft

Having just bought the Dragon Wings 1/72 die-cast of ‘Black 6’ at a shop in London, I noticed that the swastika is missing from the model. Having looked at other Luftwaffe die-casts on American websites, I see that these too lack the swastika, and usually sport either a blank space, or a black ‘X’ instead.

I could understand this if it was a toy, but on a die-cast like this?

It’s a shame that examples being exported don’t include decals for the swastika.

Confirm, representation of the swatiska is prohibited by law in Germany.

Years ago, plastic kits had a censored decal sheets when sold on the German market

Yep.. none of the Dragon range carry the Swastika, Corgi is one of the few ranges that do.. you aren’t supposed to illustrate that particular image on e-bay either I believe, so should ‘photoshop’ it out of any pictures of models you’re selling that show it.. ?

All over…

Doesn’t most european model box art lack the swastika on Luftwaffe planes?
I believe it’s against the law to display it in Germany, so if a company wants to make just one type of a kit/toy/diecast, they leave them off.
Can’t say I blame them from a financial and production standpoint.
