Seeing Herbert and George Tischler’s Oscar project almost ready to fly, I wonder If we have any latest news on their original 262 project that changed hands, and now listed at stormbirds.com. Dec 12 was about engine testruns, and imminent testflight of #2, the single seat bird.
Any insiders in this project to send pics?

The First machine has resumed flight tests and will no doubt be delivered this spring to its owner. The second machine has already had limited engine runs and will be heading to the paint shop very soon. The other three machines are in storage with work continuing on sub assemblies. There are at least two wings in jigs, and enough parts to finish the three in storage in relatively short order. Pony up 2mil and one is yours!!

By original 262 project I presume you mean the Navy 262B used as a pattern ? It is now looking stunning inside the small musuem at Willow Grove…..there was a recent pic of it over on WIX.
