Rekindle this thread

Hello all.
I was interested to read this thread regarding the Hurricanes that crashed in Loch leven. I live to the East side of the loch and happened to ask an old chap if he knew anything about this. Straight away he sad yes but descibed a different crash that happened at the side of the loch near Grahamstone farm around 1941 and did actually see the wreckage. He did not recall the other two as he was away in the services in 1943.
I would be interested to know if there is any record of this earlier crash and if there has been any more info gathered regarding the two that went into the loch.
