What became of the aircraft that landed accidentally or with reason (ie shot up or lost, etc) in neutral Spain during the war. I know the aircrew were returned to their respective Air Forces (often after a bit of internment) but did Spain keep the planes?
If so, with their Air Force using wartime planes like the He111, Ju52 and Bf109 right into the late 1960’s, did they also keep any RAF bombers, etc going till well after the war?

I have found this webpage which looks fairly comprehensive but it only lists one Allied aircraft being captured by Spain, that being of all things a Fury!
And that was there because it was bought by one side…

I know of two instances when RAF bombers were forced to land in Spain, so this list cannot be complete. I think both were Wellingtons.

As an afterthought, do any of these captured and interned aircraft exist in museums in Spain?
