usaaf training

hi have spent hours looking around the internet and in books for any infomation on the 496th FTG ie controltowers & littlefriends websites

i know they served at 345 goxhill and F365 Halesworth there was the 554th and 555th FTS with p-38’s and p-51’s aircraft id codes B9- & C7-?

i was wondering if anyone had any info on callsigns or crests or infomation or pictures of station F345 goxhill.

As rumours go it was the first base handed to the 8thAF and opened by Dwight D. Eisenhower and clark gable served there anyway anymore info would be appreciated or where i could write to or get in touch with

many thanks

I would refer you to Mr Trueman’s excellent site.

HERE

Though I suspect from your post that you’ve been there before
