How is that there are only three Venom Night Fighters in preservation? Were the rest scrapped, converted into Target Drones or sold abroad?

NAM Venom NF3.
Here are 2 views of Newark’s NF3, WX905. These were taken taken about 4 years ago.
This aircraft is now classified as a National Benchmark airframe.

Scrapped I’m afraid – with a service life of less than 1 year, it just shows how successful they were!
There are three in the UK – one at Newark, one at Salisbury Hall, and the remains of one at Doncaster. Mind you, our one at Salisbury Hall isnt much better.
There are two good ones – NF51’s (NF2A) in Sweden.
