Nuieport photos from Classic Fighters 2003

Hi all

With the build up to Classic Fighters 05 starting, I though I would post some photos from the last airshow. If you want more, let me know.

Yes please Alex, I’d very much love to see more photos from Classic Fighters.

What aircraft are going to be there next year? Anything new? Corsair?

I notice their advert on the back of Classic Wings’ latest issue has P40, Spitfire and also Sir Tim’s P51D, which is now overseas. Plus a load of the usual WWI replicas. But is there to be anything special, perhaps never seen in NZ before – a ‘special guest’?

Won’t it be great when that Anson is flying – that would be perfect for an Omaka airshow as the RNZAF Ansons were based there for a time, before moving north. I wonder if it’ll be flying by then.

Yes please 🙂

Did you ever see that group in America that built those Neiuport replicas? I think they were called “The Noon Patrol” (‘cos “dawn was just too damn early!”). I wonder if there was ever any air-to-air stuff of them??
