Last weekend at work, the guys were having a sort out of all the old stock and crap from our old shop, and there was a box load of made up plastic kits. A mix of Figures, Tanks and Aircraft. I asked what was to happen with them, and the manager said nothing. He said i was welcome to help myself if i wanted. 😀 So i did.
Heres one of the 4 aircraft i got: EE216 is the reg number on it.
I had to clean it up a little as it had accumulated about 10 years of dust! and also i had to repair the canopy, from where it was damaged whilst in storage. Only noticable damage is the snapped of antena on the top.
I’ll post up the other pics in a little while, when i have cleaned them up.
Enjoy.

Looks like you’re missing the flaps on the Ju-52 Andy – shame, because it’s beautifully painted and weathered. The truck is magnificently painted aswell! Very nice indeed.

Albert Ross – sorry – all as far as i know are 1/48th scale. There was also a Hurricane that i picked up, though it was a little worse for the wear, so sadly it got binned. There are still 2 more models at work – those being a german F4 Phantom (1/32nd) and a USAF corsair (1/32nd) – though both of them need alot of work – especially the Phantom.

Wow. I have been lucky enough to benefit like this as well.
Unwanted models being given away for free, or for a couple of pounds.
I got a very nice Spitfire VIII in Asia colours (same as SM832).
The serial is I believe MT719, and that rings a few bells?
Was she based in the UK for a time?

Meteor is the best of the lot, looks like the Tamiya 1/48th scale kit.
F-84G Thunderjet also looks like Tamiya and I guess the JU-52 is the Revell 1/48th scale kit, although you don’t say what scale they are.

The first one is a Republic F-84 Thunderjet

Cheers Rob – deffinately the best out of the 4 in my opinion. 🙂
Heres the rest – all of which still need a few minor repairs.
Im not sure what the USAF model is here, same with the US truck/pickup truck thing either – so any help would be appreciated. 🙂
As you can see the JU-52 needs a new set of wheels and a few paint touch ups, but other than that its a stunning model, and the weathering on it is great.
And then the F-16. 🙂
