There’s the Schlepp at Chino with PoF – Pinocchio. Is that the Bob Pond machine?

nope
the thing is that there is no C-3603 in the photo, but:

This photo was taken shortly after a P-51D had crashed on short final following a mid-air collision with a D-3801 during a mock dog-fight.
The P-51 had lost about one third of its left wing but stayed flyable until on short final the a/c flipped on its back with subsequent contact to the ground, cartwheeling and disintegration. The pilot sadly was killed in the accident.
The debris can be seen in the middle left area of the photo.

Below photo gives the solution:

green = D-3801 Morane
red = Bf-108 Taifun
yellow = Pilatus P-2-05
light blue = Bü-133 Jungmeister
white = Bü-131 Jungmann

Mike J

the C-3603 is grounded with engine trouble for a while already – don’t know the exact status right now.

If you come to visit Dübendorf, please drop me a PM – I live just around the corner from there….

Nil points on the Pe2.

Still, there weren’t any Spitfires there. 😀

Nah. I meant the pixillated a/c top right in front of the NA Tedium was a Pe2; but you can’t see it properly.

The F+W became the Schlepp, hence the start of my post.

No Dewoitines there.

No Pe-2 James, its that F+W something or other towplane, before its conversion to turboprop power. The other one is a Dewoitine D.520 I think.
