TURRET
You can manually move both the turret and the guns, There was the idea of hydraulically connecting them back up along with the mid upper. You can only imagine what it must of been like in the back, eyes straining.

Its been said already but what the hell. Great pics. 😎
You ought to get yourself a proper job though, all this posing around in the turret of a rather famous bomber taking photos of multiple historic fighters in tight formation. Can’t you find yourself something better to do on a Sunday.
No… thought not.
great stuff.

The E-3s are at Coningsby while Waddo’s runway is spruced up.
Thanks Damien. I didn’t know this and just assumed the E-3s were at home.

Super, Smashing, Great!!!
I think I am right in stating that these were taken at Coningsby during the members open day last Sunday. I can see my car parked.
I have a video of someone in the mid upper but could not tell if they was anyone in the rear gun position. Could these be the same person I wonder?
My late Father told me of his experience in the mid upper during training but said nothing of sitting in the rear turret, he totally enjoyed every minute while it lasted though.
Yes, Waddington is having runway work done.
Thanks for sharing.
