At the suggestions of Mark Morris and Andy Jones…I have finally gotten around to joining this forum.
I live in Greeley, Colorado in the good ole USA. I have been partners in crime aka aviation photography with my good friend Mark Morris for about 14 years now. Thru those years we’ve seen alot of airshows, experienced many terrific things, and made alot of awesome friends.
I have been to England once a few years ago…LOVED IT and can’t wait for the next chance to go again. Have made more new friends over there, ANDY, and I am sure more to come so it will be a blast to get together at a pub and suck down a few pints together! 🙂

eHanger
Yes, having been involved in aviation photography for about 14 years now, it’s safe to say I have been many places, met many people, photographed many planes, and have had some of the most memorable experiences of my life! I think the people involved are my favorite part (besides the planes ofcourse!) because at the shows or events they are all there to enjoy the atmosphere, they are having fun joking around, talking about planes and experiences they’ve had. I have been able to just sit and listen to the WWII vets talk about missions they were a part of. I feel very privledged indeed. 🙂

Welcome aboard, Denise!
You have a job I envy greatly, getting to fly in all those warbirds and meeting the personalities. Wanna trade places? 😉
Enjoy your time here; you know you’re among like-minded crazy people 😉

Windsong, It’s one of the first and most important rules of cyberspace! Other items to avoid putting on line are your address and phone number, or anything else that permits you to be identified. That’s what the Private Message (PM) facility is for, but don’t even put sensitive stuff on there until you are sure you are not writing to a nut case (we may have a few on this Forum, who knows?)
That also is why we all have pseudonyms, although some of us “know” each other after a while and put our real names up occasionally. Confusing at first, but you’ll soon get used to it!
Have a nice day!

After 30 years here, Mike, do you think I could be allowed back into the UK again? It gets blinking cold in the winter! Even brass monkeys feel pain in their nether regions!

Anyone else think a woman that close to a .50 is a little scary? 😮
A woman close to any form of offensive (or defensive) weapon is damn scary but a woman close to a Browning .50 is exceedingly BLOODY scary. Lemme out of here quick 😮 😮 Seriously though Denise welcome to our mad house.

😀
I’m flattered, James!

Oh, I don’t know Papa Lima. You are usually fatal to stupid mistakes about aircraft in the 1950s or so… 🙂

OK Denise, I’ll send you some pix of Sweden – you can edit your post to remove your E-mail address if you like – it could be safer for you as Auster Fan says. Fortunately I am harmless!

Welcome Denise and we’ll show you what a REAL sense of humour is! Look for anything on the GA forum that includes posts by Robert Weaver!! Be careful about posting your e-mail address publicly though – you don’t know what/who it might attract.

OK…I feel dumb now. I read where your from Papa Lima, and it’s not England. I have never been to Sweden…but I am sure it’s fantastic there as well! Hopefully one day I will be able to visit your country also. 😉
