Yesterday was the last flight with the Red Arrows as “Red 2″” for Flt. Lt. “Jarvo” Jarvis.
I live in Saxilby which is within site of the Arrows Base at Scampton Lincs
and it was most impressive to see the whole of the Arrows with a Harrier on each flank flying slightly above a Two Seat Spitfire piloted by “Jarvo”.
What a nice way for him to do his last flight. He is terminally ill with Cancer.
I would like to wish him well (as well as can be expected).

There was a very nice air to air shot of the Red Arrows “escorting” The Grace Spitfire with Flt Lt Jarvis on board and 2 Harriers as outriders in the Daily Mail yesterday.

Our thoughts are with Flt. Lt. “Jarvo” Jarvis and his family, as well as with his Red Arrows family.
🙁 It’s a struggle to find the right words, but lets hope he gets some strength from knowing that lots of us are thinking of him and his family.
My thoughts are with you Flt. Lt. “Jarvo” Jarvis.
Best Wishes
