Does anyone out there perhaps have any photographs in their collections of 75 (NZ) Squadron Wellingtons & aircrew during their Feltwell residence around 1940?
I have the various Wellington books which feature some and also the history of 75 Squadron. I am also aware of the Feltwell history site.
Thanks

Thanks for that, I do also have the Halifax & Wellington book as well, though I shall ask John Stevens as well thanks Moggy.
I’m sure there must be other people out there with stuff in their personal albums too?

In the book “Halifax & Wellington” by Brian J Rapier & Chaz Bowyer there is a picture of a crew in front of a 75(NZ) Sqdn Wimpy taken in May 1941. The nose art on the Wimpey is a soda siphon dispensing bombs but the crew are not named.
Any Help!

Just a thought.
John Stevens, the aviation artist who painted ‘Wellingtons Over Feltwell’ (A bit of a misnomer since Feltwell itself appears to have been wiped off the face of the earth by the Luftwaffe, leaving only the airfield intact,) had a Father-In-Law who flew with 75Sq from there.
I had the good fortune to meet the pair of them at the sadly missed Swanton Morley a few years back.
It could well be that John has inherited any pictures since his relative sadly passed away.
This might work – jes@aviationart.org.uk – or give it a Google
