spade grip up on ebay

Hello all

This is a shameless plug, but I have had to put my fairey firefly/blackburn firebrand/ gloster meteor grip up on ebay to pay for a very expensive acquistion. There is also a mk viii O2 regulator if anyone is interested.

I’m sorry to see it go and I do hope it goes to a good home.

Fair enough, WP. I recently bought a Sea Fury grip from Bruce (from the De Havilland museum) for the same thing as a genuine Spit grip would have cost me slightly more than the Sea Fury one….

WP – could this grip be restored to flying condition?

Just curious

Hi Daz

Well, if I was working on a flying fighter project I would certainly be keeping it!! 😉

Of course it would need to be checked out first but it is in very good condition.

All the best
